The Qatar Canada and Mexico 2026 Year of Culture sets the stage for all three countries to celebrate their rich traditions and contemporary cultures.

This edition connects Qatar’s heritage and forward-looking spirit with the artistic energy, festivals and creative scenes of Canada and Mexico, opening new pathways for collaboration and cultural dialogue. The three countries are also linked through football: Qatar as host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ and Canada and Mexico preparing to welcome the 2026 tournament.

Throughout 2026, the programme will feature exhibitions, performances, residencies, workshops and community projects that spark dialogue and foster lasting connections.
