“Here and There” Contemporary Art Exhibition was the exceptional closing event of the Qatar-Brazil 2014 Year of Culture at QM Gallery Al Riwaq in Doha.
The exhibition featured works by artists from Qatar (here) and Brazil (there) side by side, building a bridge and creating a dialogue between the two cultures.
Here and There explored the transformation of environmental, cultural and social experiences in Qatar and Brazil as presented through the eyes of each country’s most promising and talented emerging artists. The exhibition pieces were produced in traditional media such as paintings, drawings and printmaking as well as digital art, installations and interactive works.
