As part of the Qatar, Argentina and Chile 2025 Year of Culture, artist Rirkrit Tiravanija presents an interactive installation at MIA Park that reimagines the bakery oven as both a tool and a cultural symbol.
Inspired by Argentinian artist Victor Grippo’s 1972 performance in Buenos Aires, the project invites visitors to gather around traditional ovens. The installation will explore bread-making as a shared act of connection, creativity, and cultural exchange, featuring curated events.
Local and international chefs and artists will be invited to use the ovens, enriching the dialogue around food and community.
